Le Strette: one of the wineries
that expresses the uniqueness of Piedmont
Le Strette is one of the Langa farms that, with its wines, express the uniqueness of Piedmont.
The winery was founded in 1997 in Novello and owes its name to the ancient village in which it is located: a narrow narrow alley that winds between the ancient houses and opens onto an enchanting scenery where the hills of the Barolo area slope down onto the plain , with the Alps as a frame.
What better place to make our Langhe wines?
A little history of our winery in the heart of the Langhe
It all started back in 1997, from the passion of mother Giuliana and father Giulio.
A passion fueled by love for their territory, for the vineyard and for the wine, passed on to the sons Mauro and Savio Daniele, the owners of Le Strette.
The two brothers oenologists have combined the sentiment with the study, first in Alba and then in Turin.
With the help of their parents, Gino Lagorio and his family, they work with determination and sacrifice to make Le Strette a winery where you can still breathe history and uniqueness.
Visiting Le Strette, in the Langhe of Barolo, is a unique emotion, because it allows you to perceive the personality of some of the most important Piedmontese wines, produced and told with competence and human warmth.
The company mission is to produce wines of extraordinary quality and character, which become an authentic and genuine expression of the grapes of the territory. Not surprisingly, another important cornerstone of the company is the enhancement of the Piedmontese vines that characterize the history of Novello: Nebbiolo, Barbera, Dolcetto and the rare and ancient Nascetta.
We work to be at the top of Italian wineries abroad.
Tradition, modernity and eco-sustainability. It is thanks to the study and effort behind these three words that Le Strette has enhanced the wines belonging to the different designations of origin produced on the farm.
“Bergera-Pezzole”, “Corini-Pallaretta” and “Bergeisa” for the production of Barolo DOCG, as well as Langhe Nas-cëtta of the Municipality of Novello and Langhe Nebbiolo, without forgetting Barbera d’Alba and Dolcetto d’Alba: these wines they are a true expression of the Langa and of a small Italian winery that has also been able to establish itself abroad.
