Barbera d’Alba Superiore DOC
Rustic and elegant
Le Strette has been producing Barbera d’Alba Persole since 1997, the year of its first harvest. It takes its name from the combination of the names of the two villages where the first old vineyards, from which this wine originates, are located.


IN THE VINEYARD
Commune of Novello – Locality Bergera e TarditiAltitude: from 350 to 420m above sea level
Soil: various soils of calcareous base with different infiltrations of sand and clay, depending on the geographical location.
Grapevine: Barbera
Planting density: 4,200 – 4,600 plants/hectare
Growing system: espalier with simple Guyot pruning.
Year of implantation: from 1940, 1950, 1999.

IN THE CELLAR
Soft pressing and destemmingFermentation and maceration in steel vats for about 15 days
Aged for about 12 months in small wooden barrels of 225-300 liters, second and third wine.

IN THE GLASS
Intense and attractive ruby red color, with a lively tone and excellent depthElegant and complex aroma of flowers, with hints of red berries, sweet spices and cocoa.
Fresh and harmonious, it blends a sweet and important structure with a delicate acidity.
