Classic and unique
Dolcetto d’Alba was the first Le Strette wine to be commercialized, announcing the winery’s arrival on the wine scene of the Langa hills with the 1997 harvest.


IN THE VINEYARD
Commune of Novello – Locality Bergera e TarditiAltitude: from 350 to 420m above sea level
Soil: calcareous base with different infiltrations of sand and clay.
Grapevine: Dolcetto
Planting density: 4,200 – 4,500 plants/hectare
Growing system: espalier with simple Guyot pruning.
Year of implantation: 1950 – 1992.

IN THE CELLAR
Soft pressing and destemmingFermentation and maceration in steel vats for 5 – 7 days
Aging in steel vats for about 8 months

IN THE GLASS
Intense ruby red color with captivating purple reflectionsFragrant and fruity aroma, with notes of red fruits (cherry) and some spicy tones that give complexity.
On the palate it combines finesse, elegance and freshness with a respectable body, showing a subtle tannicity.
