Le Strette is one of the Langhe\u2019s wine estates<\/strong> that truly reflects the uniqueness of Piedmont<\/strong> through its wines.<\/p>

The winery was founded in 1997 in Novello and takes its name from the ancient hamlet where it stands\u2014a narrow little lane winding between old stone houses before opening onto a breathtaking landscape: the Barolo hills descending toward the plain, framed by the Alps. A setting more perfect for the birth of our wines<\/strong> simply does not exist.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

A bit of history: our winery in the heart of the Langhe<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Everything began back in 1997 with the passion of Giuliana and Giulio, passed down to their sons, Mauro and Savio Daniele\u2014now the owners of Le Strette. Their love for their land, for the vineyard and for wine became the foundation of the estate.<\/p>

The two brothers, both trained oenologists, combined passion with study\u2014first in Alba and then in Turin.<\/p>

With the support of their parents, of Gino Lagorio (Savio\u2019s father-in-law) and his family, they worked with determination and sacrifice to build a winery<\/strong> where history and uniqueness can still be felt in every corner.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Visiting Le Strette, in the Langhe of Barolo<\/strong>, is a truly emotional experience.
It allows guests to perceive the soul of some of Piedmont\u2019s most important wines<\/strong>\u2014crafted and shared with true expertise and human warmth.<\/p>

The mission has always been to produce wines of outstanding quality and authentic character, expressing the grapes of this land in their most genuine form.<\/p>

Another cornerstone of the estate is the valorisation of the grape varieties that define Novello\u2019s history: Nebbiolo, Barbera, Dolcetto and the rare, ancient Nascetta\u2014a variety that Le Strette has helped rediscover since the mid-1990s.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Le Strette Today<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

In 2021, Le Strette<\/strong> faced a pivotal moment with the loss of Mauro, one of the founders and pillars of the family-run winery.<\/p>

After a long battle with cancer, Mauro passed away at the end of July, leaving a profound void. Despite this tragedy, Savio\u2014supported by his daughter Ludovica\u2014continues to carry forward the vision he and Mauro had built together.<\/p>

With her humanistic background, Ludovica has stepped into the family business, assisting her father in all activities compatible with her studies and contributing to the continuity of their family tradition.<\/p>

The vision behind Le Strette<\/strong> is rooted in passion, quality and a deep connection to the land\u2014values that have remained unchanged, even after Mauro\u2019s passing.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

The winery\u2019s wines continue to express the authenticity of the local terroir and of the Langhe\u2019s winemaking culture, standing as a true reflection of this remarkable territory.<\/p>

The future of the estate is built on a strong awareness of its roots and its history. Every vintage and every vineyard tells a new chapter of evolution\u2014keeping alive the bond and synergy between Savio and Mauro. Turning their shared passion for wine and the expertise they cultivated into a thriving reality: their dream continues to live on, now more than ever.<\/p>
