Pasinot® - Nebbiolo d’Alba DOC

From “Pasinotti,” the red soul of the historic Nas-cëtta hill

The calcareous soil, the south-facing exposure and the location just a few meters outside the Barolo DOCG boundary make the Pasinotti hill an ideal place for Nebbiolo. With the project launched in 2014 to restore and enhance this historic hill—already central to the identity of Nas-cëtta—Le Strette chose to also give space to Nebbiolo and to the unique character this land imparts to it.
This work led to the production of Nebbiolo d’Alba DOC, an important denomination that, since 1970, has contributed to defining the expressive style of wines produced in Langa and Roero from this prestigious grape.

Nebbiolo d’Alba Pasinot maintains the tannic structure and complexity typical of the variety, all expressed within a framework of great elegance. As the vineyard continues to mature, “Pasinot” will undoubtedly become an increasingly important Nebbiolo d’Alba—indeed, starting with the 2022 vintage, it is officially classified as Superiore.
