La Nas-cëtta

Langhe Nas-cëtta del Comune di Novello

“Langhe Nas-cëtta del Comune di Novello”, a fascinating semi-aromatic DOC white wine, is an homage to the small Langhe village that is its historic birthplace.

It is produced from Nascetta, an ancient local grape vinified in purity from vineyards located exclusively within the municipality of Novello. Until a few decades ago, the variety survived only in a handful of old vines scattered across the hills—tiny, forgotten plots hidden among rows of prestigious red varietals.

Barolo

Barolo DOCG and the philosophy of its territory

Barolo is a DOCG wine that embodies the prestige of Piedmontese winemaking—and far beyond.

Thanks to its noble origins and its two centuries of history, it has earned the title “Wine of Kings and King of Wines.”
Barolo represents one of the highest expressions of Nebbiolo, a grape that has shaped the winemaking excellence of the Langhe for centuries.

Nebbiolo D’Alba

From “Pasinotti,” the red soul of the historic Nas-cëtta hill

The calcareous soil, the south-facing exposure and the location just a few meters outside the Barolo DOCG boundary make the Pasinotti hill an ideal place for Nebbiolo.

With the project launched in 2014 to restore and enhance this historic hill—already central to the identity of Nas-cëtta—Le Strette chose to also give space to Nebbiolo and to the unique character this land imparts to it.
This work led to the production of Nebbiolo d’Alba DOC, an important denomination that, since 1970, has contributed to defining the expressive style of wines produced in Langa and Roero from this prestigious grape.

Other Red Wines

The Classics of the Langhe

The Piedmontese red wines crafted by Le Strette are true classics of the Langhe—wines that express the remarkable personality of the region’s three historic red varieties.

Barbera d’Alba Superiore DOC, with its intense color, fresh acidity and generous structure, caresses the palate with its smooth, persuasive character.

Dolcetto d’Alba DOC showcases the most immediate and youthful traits of Langhe wines. Despite its approachability, it still retains character, making it the perfect everyday wine even after just a few months of aging.
